Ron Paul: The Right Man for 2012!

There are many members of the GOP that deserve recognition for their positions regarding the 2012 Presidential Race, but there is good reason why Ron Paul stands out among the rest. His endorsement by the Tea Party Movement is only one.

Dr. Paul has represented the State of Texas in the House of Representatives for many years. I do not think that Texans would have kept voting for him if he wasn't doing a good job. His positions on many issues are too "radical" for the conservatives, but it will take radical changes to get America back to prosperity and respect in the global community.

Even Fox News who, brought the first debate to us last week, downplayed his significance and instead made Herman Cain the "winner" in the debate. But Paul was the only one that stood out, by making it known that the Federal Reserve System itself was the main cause of all the economic issues we face today.

But I feel that it was his stance on foreign aid, both financially and militarily that turned most people off. And that is because of the spin, er commentary, that Fox News put on Dr. Paul's statements that really twisted what he was saying out of context. The fact that we give more aid to Arab nations in the Middle East did not seem to deter his detractors from saying they felt he was "anti-Israel." In reality, he is "anti-meddling" in the affairs of other nations.

He also came under fire for his views on legalizing drugs. Seems most of the inquisitors on the panel felt that legalizing drugs such as heroin and cocaine would lead to massive drug addiction, although the studio audience indicated the contrary would be true for them. I guess they (Fox News) look at the addictions of alcohol and tobacco as the "proof" that legalizing drugs would lead to such a place.

Dr. Paul is the only candidate thus far who has indicated that he is well informed regarding fiscal responsibility, as he is the only one who seeks to abolish the Federal Reserve System and its collection agency, the Internal Revenue Service. Coupled with Mr. Cain's flat tax instead of income tax, that would stimulate the growth of the economy and bring needed jobs back into the United States.

While we are still nearly a year and a half from the elections, it is time that we started looking at the candidates for what they stand for and not make it a matter of popularity, as the polls always seem to indicate. We need reforms, not change. The changes we have been subjected to since the Obama Administration has been nothing short of catastrophic for America, and we will continue to decline under the same policies that have been the hallmark of the two-party system for decades.

Ron Paul will restore true Constitutional law to the Republic, and return to the States, their sovereign rights, and to the people. He is the only candidate that will do what is right, even if it is unpopular. And having a doctor in the White House will restore sanity to the health care system without an unconstitutional bill that forces people to participate.
